Dentiz is a modern centre for dental care, where the latest techniques are used and the patient is central. The practice has been using Wachtkamerschermen® since 2018 and is very satisfied with this product.

Positive feedback from patients

During a telephone satisfaction survey, one of the staff members said: “Updating the information on the screen is very easy and we often receive positive feedback from patients.”

The philosophy of Dentiz is to work together with the patient to strive for healthy and strong teeth. This applies to all ages, as the earlier you start with prevention, the more benefit you will have later in life. Therefore, paediatric dentistry is an important aspect at Dentiz. There is even a dentist specialised in treating young patients.

Content for children

On Wednesday afternoons, more children visit the practice than on other days. Therefore, a playlist tailored to these young patients is shown on the digital signage screen. The ‘Wednesday afternoon playlist’ is filled with funny animations of Mr. Bean visiting the dentist, as well as educational animations such as ‘How do cavities form?’.

Additionally, the playlist includes widgets that display the latest news in a way that is understandable for children. This includes current news from Kidsweek and news from Nu.nl as short 90-second videos. A Dentiz staff member notes: “Those news widgets are fantastic because they display the latest news in simple language or as videos. These widgets work completely automatically, so I don’t have to worry about them. I can focus all my attention on the children. That’s very convenient.”

A valuable addition to the waiting room

After Wednesday afternoon, the regular playlist is automatically displayed again on the Dentiz digital signage screen. This playlist contains a mix of practice announcements, current news, and various informational videos. “We regularly adjust the playlist to respond to current events. There’s always something interesting to find in the Wachtkamerschermen® media library. It’s no surprise we get positive feedback from patients about our digital signage screen, and we find it a valuable addition to the waiting room!”
