At Health Centre Amstelkwartier and Health Centre Buiksloterham, patients can find all the care they need. Both health centres are located in Amsterdam and offer various disciplines such as GPs, physiotherapy, midwifery/ultrasound, mental health care, pharmacy, etc.

A real eye-catcher!

Gezondheidscentrum Buiksloterham had been located at a temporary site for a few years, and in May 2020, a modern new building was completed. This was a reason to make a big impression with a particularly large screen. An 86-inch screen was installed in the general waiting room. A real eye-catcher! The main purpose of this screen is to inform patients. Practice announcements are displayed on the screen, as well as news, weather, and educational videos about health and care. Since this screen is in a general waiting room, the broadcast is suitable for a wide group of patients and covers a variety of topics.

This health centre also has a midwifery ultrasound centre. A digital signage screen was installed here to provide future mums and dads with information and interesting facts about pregnancy and parenthood.

Targeted patient information

Health Centre Amstelkwartier is located on the ground floor and first floor of an apartment complex that was put into use at the end of 2018. This health centre has several waiting rooms. Each discipline has its own waiting room, which allows for very targeted patient information. A digital signage screen is installed in each waiting room, showing a broadcast specifically tailored to that audience. For example, the waiting room in the physiotherapy department focuses more on exercise and a healthy lifestyle, while the pharmacy waiting room gives more attention to medication and its usage.

Positive reactions

Patients respond positively to the digital signage screens in the health centres. For example, questions are often asked based on a topic displayed on the screen. At Health Centre Buiksloterham, the size of the screen is often the first thing patients comment on, as the screen's size really becomes a talking point: "You simply can't miss it!" one patient remarked with a laugh. Additionally, patients appreciate that music is played through the screens. This was also one of the reasons for choosing digital signage.

At both health centres, professional care and service are paramount. They expect the same professional and service-oriented attitude from their suppliers: "We are very satisfied with your service, which is very important. You don’t know this in advance, but it has proven to be true. Everything is just right from A to Z!"
